Adobe releases Photoshop CS3 in two editions

On March, 27th 2007 Adobe releases the brand-new Photoshop CS3. Surprisingly for the first time in two different editions: Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Adobe Photoshop CS3 Extended.

Photoshop CS3 includes all the features of Photoshop CS2 plus some innovative (but not revolutionary) new ones. This “basic” version is intended for photographers, graphic designers, web designers and print service providers.

Photoshop CS3 Extended is the big brother of CS3 and supports such nice things like rendering and special tools for video processing. The target group for Photoshop CS3 Extended are film, video, and multimedia professionals, graphic and web designers using 3D and motion, medical professionals, architects and engineers and scientific researchers.
